Restorations of items made from Gem Materials
At times we have been presented with items which have been broken and they need us to restore special parts or the entire piece.
Many of these projects have proven to be very challenging.
The projects often require us to make special tools or to acquire larger than usual materials. They also often require techniques and methods which are not used on other gem cutting projects.
Sometimes this involves re-polishing the parts, sometimes it involves repairing the parts, and sometimes it involves reproducing some of the pieces to match the original carving.
