Gemstone Watch Dials
We can custom cut watch dials for you from a variety of gemstone materials.
The thickness required depends on your watch. Your watchmaker can contact us regarding the specifications they need for thickness and diameter. It is best if you can send use the existing dial to use as a pattern for the shape. That is not necessary if it is a round dial.
If the stone is a translucent material, it may be necessary to back the stone dial with an opaque backing because when translucent gem materials are less than 1 mm thick, they can become almost transparent.
Over the years we have made watch dials for a variety of watches such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, Piaget and others. We have made them from materials such as Lapis, Black Onyx, Mother of Pearl, Tiger Eye, and Dinosaur bone.
