Sugilite rough material
Sugilite is a good hard material and is good for inlaying. It can also be faceted even though it is not transparent. It is mostly opaque and is sometimes translucent.
As you will see below, Sugilite ranges from light purple to very dark purple
It also varies from an even color to mottled, striped, and other patterns of coloration.
