Bamboo Coral rough

Bamboo Coral is a form of coral which grows in tall shoots in sections which are connected by joints.

The material is normally very solid (red and pink coral often has holes in it) and have the same off-white color as Ivory. It actually makes a great substitute for Ivory. Many people have looks at a piece and asked me, "Are you sure this isn't Ivory?"

Pink Coral rough material

The two cylindrical pieces in the photo to the left, and the flat one to the right of them are bamboo coral. The two round pieces are white (not bamboo) coral which is described on the White Coral page.

The two pieces on the left are Magnesite (also known as Pristine) and are described on the Magnesite page.
