A local jeweler had a customer who wanted a unique and specially designed ring.
He designed a ring with a trillion diamond which would have a Black Jade inlay wrapping over the edge. He wanted the inlay to have a repeating arrow pattern carved into the Black Jade in relief.
He provided us with a wax carving as a guide to use for our carving.
The jeweler did a great job preparing the inlay channel for this ring.
You can see the finished carved Black Jade inlay. It is now ready to be glued into the ring.
In this photo you can see how the inlay we carved matches the wax sample which was provided by the jewelry designer.
This is the finished ring. The pattern carved into the Black Jade created a nice effect.
A unique ring like this is a great conversation piece when others notice it.
