Carved Onyx with Druzy crystals
This jewelry designer wanted the ring inlaid with black Onyx and asked if it would be possible to use the Druzy type of Onyx with the crystals. I told her I would look through my material to see if I had a piece of Druzy Onyx that would work. I happened to have a piece of Onyx with the druzy quartz crystals in my stock.
The jeweler provided me with a wax model of how she wanted a piece of druzy black Onyx to be inlaid into a custom designed ring. I was able to inlay that piece into the ring and position the section of the druzy where the jewelry designer wanted it.
