A jeweler sent us this large faceted Lapis and wanted us to make 2 matching smaller faceted Lapis to match.
We maintain a stock of Lapis rough materials of various shades of blue and various textures. I emailed photos of several pieces of material to the jeweler and he selected the piece that he liked, which you can see below on this page.
At left is the sample faceted Lapis which the jeweler sent to us and next to it is the large piece of Lapis rough material which he selected to be used to cut the new matching pieces.
He wanted the overall color to match and to also have more Pyrite than the sample. He liked this piece of rough Lapis for its Pyrite patterns.
At left you can see the matching set of smaller faceted Lapis cabochons which we cut.
You can see the Pyrite in them.
