A customer had acquired some large pieces of rough Charoite. Charoite is a unique purpleish material with a fiberous structure. Charoite can tend to want to split apart while it is being worked on. So we need to be careful.
The customer wanted these pieces cut into the largest cabochons possible from the pieces of rough Charoite which he sent to us.

These are all of the pieces which the customer sent to us to be worked on.
He wanted the blocks in the rear to be polished with flat faces.
