Cut Sleeping Beauty Turquoise cabochons to match sample

A jewelry designer needed 2 new Sleeping Beauty Turquoise cabochons cut to match sample stones in their customer's earrings

For this cutting job we used material from our stock. It is hard to get the Sleeping Beauty Turquoise rough material in this size now days.

Sleeping Beauty refers to plain blue Turquoise with no matrix. It is a stabilized material which takes a nice high polish.

These are the earrings the jewelry designer sent us which are mounted with very nice Sleeping Beauty Turquoise cabochons.

In the photo, on the right, is a block of Sleeping Beauty Turquoise rough material that I had in stock.

On the lower left are the mountings that we need to fit the new cabs into.
