A jewelry designer sent us this very nice quality petrified rough Dinosaur Bone. He wanted us to cut cabochons for him from this material.
Dinosaur bone has become very popular in the past few years as people have become educated about the geologic history of the earth and have come to understand how special it is to own an actual piece of ancient Dinosaur.
And, petrified Dinosaur Bone is also a very beautiful material which comes in a variety of colors and patterns.
Dinosuar Bone can vary in quality because some is not fully petrified. This particular piece was well petrified and very hard which is why it took such a good polish.
