Faceting new tiny Rubies to fit ring

In the photos below you will see the ring which a jeweler brought to us which had been word for many years. The tiny Rubies had been chipped and broken.

They wanted to know if I could facet new stones to fit in these geometric shapes.

Below you will see how I did it.

You can see that this ring has been worn for a long time and the small Rubies have taken some damage.

At left you can see the chips in the Rubies, which is why they want new ones faceted to match.

With the old stones removed, I can measure them and cut the new stones to the exact sizes.
