We are sometimes called on to work on glass 'crystal' or antique bottles. Sometimes that involves sanding and polishing out chips. This time they had an antique bottle with a stopper that was stuck in the neck of the bottle.
They asked us if we could drill it out.
We have a wide variety of diamond drilling tools. For a project like this, we select one that is a bit more aggressive for removal of material.
We proceed very carefully so as not to damage the inside of the neck of the bottle.
We have now finished removing the stopper.
